Burgeoning industries like craft brewing contributed $416 million to the Oklahoma economy in 2014. By allowing our local breweries and wineries to serve their full range of products to consumers, they can further grow their businesses.

GROWTH FOR LOCAL INDUSTRIES

A STRONGER ECONOMY

When our local businesses have the opportunity to grow, they’re able to create more jobs for Oklahomans. Modern beer and wine laws also mean Oklahomans won’t have to travel out of state to get the products they want—increasing state revenue.

CONVENIENCE & MORE CHOICES

Right now, grocery stores can’t sell regular-strength beer or wine, and regular beer can’t be sold refrigerated anywhere. Allowing the sale of cold, regular-strength beer and wine at grocery stores will give Oklahomans what they want: more choices and one-stop shopping.

Q: How does voting Yes On 792 help local businesses?

A: These new laws will support the Oklahoma economy by empowering local businesses to operate under comparable legislation as their competitors in neighboring states. Oklahomans will no longer feel the need to shop across borders and local businesses, like small breweries and wine producers, will be able to grow within the state — creating new local jobs.
